Well, it’s official.  Ex-Chargers CB Drayton Florence has signed with Jacksonville for a reported guaranteed $12 million and $6 million per season.  Jaguars’ head coach Jack Del Rio is excited and confident that Florence will bolster the secondary immensely.

Scott Mruczkowski inked a new 3-year deal to stay in San Diego, stating, “After being around guys like Nick Hardwick, Mike Goff, Kris Dielman, Marcus McNeill and the rest of my teammates, I didn’t want to go anywhere else to play …We’ve got a great group of guys here and a great team. For me, it didn’t make any sense to go somewhere else.”

Billy Volek, as well, will be staying in San Diego through 2010 and is very happy to be there as well.
