Stud DE Luis Castillo (for questions about the Hulk comment, READ MY BLOG a bit more regularly…OK??) signed a 7-year contract extension keeping him a Charger through the 2014 season, as his original rookie contract was set to expire after the 2009 season.

Apparently A.J. Smith continues to impress the world with his GM capabilities, ensuring the talented (and oh so nice & extremely adorable) Castillo remains in San Diego, where he has been highly valuable since his arrival as the Bolts’ second 1st-round pick in the 2005 draft.

Castillo is the NFL’s first Dominican Republic-born player, in addition to being a pillar of the community both in San Diego, Dominican Republic, and Tijuana.

This move now locks 32 of the team’s current players in San Diego through, at least, 2010.

OK, for those of you who missed it…..one more time!
