Ted Cottrell is worthless.  How does a defensive coordinator take one of the top 3 defenses in the league and reduce them to nothing against the rush and fraught with penalties against the pass?  While I’m on the topic, Norv Turner’s playcalling is very reminiscent of Marty-ball.  First down…run.  Second down…run.  Third and long…obvious pass play.  How unoriginal.  What happened to the reverse?  Or LT tossing a pass here and there?  Or anything remotely creative?  YAWN.

And way to go refs!! Yet ANOTHER completely BLOWN call.  Pass interference against Clinton Hart v. Anthony Fasano.  Um, excuse me, first of all, Hart’s hands were up going for the ball when Fasano’s arm got in his face so Hart moved Fasano’s hand down and Hart was flagged?  Come on.  Not to mention that the pass was only high enough for Vincent Jackson to have any chance to catch.

While I’m venting.  San Diego’s offensive line is horrible, there are far too many dropped balls, and LT is (thus far) insignificant.  When a receiver was wide open, Rivers overthrew the ball.

So far, my game ball goes to Mike Scifres.  Granted, there is most of the 4th quarter left, so you can expect a post game report later on.  Or not.  This post might have just summed up the entire game.
